- We will be donating 15% of our profits over the next 2 months to the American Red Cross.

- Our latest creation is a Free Links2See.com toolbar
We are starting out basic. It contains an internet radio (with lots of channels), games, useful application, chat rooms, a highlighter, weather for your area, Privacy settings such as a pop-up blocker and being able to remove your history and cookies right from the toolbar, and also the option to get your email and email notification on the toolbar for your existing email accounts. We will add and/or take away features as more people download out toolbar and we get feedback. This is a great way to support our website for free :)

-We are in the process of adding an As Seen On TV category. The Green category has been temporarily put on the back burner. The economy has hit our website hard this year and has unfortunately slowed our growth.

-We still plan on offering a one time larger prize (probably on our contest page) in February starting at the beginning of the month and ending at the end to help celebrate our 10th year. Unfortunately not as big a prize as we hoped. Perhaps a $100 Amazon Gift Card to one lucky winner. Still trying to work out the details.

Wow how time flies. The summer months are almost over!

- We have had some technical difficulties lately with our e-card program and have been forced to remove it from our website. This is a bit sad since we have offered e-cards since we first started Links2See.com back in February of 2000.

- We have added an exciting new feature on our site. A Yahoo Group (instead of a newsletter). We will post site updates, freebies, cool websites we come across and exclusive contests for group members. The group also has some fun interactive features that allow you to interact with other group members. Including a Coupon Exchange Program, Recipe Section to add your own, Favorite Quotes and more. We hope you will take the time and join, there are many options to choose from including the amount of emails you wish to receive from us.

- We are working on a new category called Green. It will feature top Environmentally Friendly websites. Not just stores, but also websites that offer tips to help people be more green in their everyday living. We hope to have it up by the beginning of next week.

- By request we have added a new category --- Social Networks - A list of some of the top social media and social networking websites found online. Including some of the newer and niche social sites. We also describe each program to help explain what they offer.

- We will continue to donate 15% of our commission to the American Red Cross, probably throughout the rest of the year. They offer so much help to those in immediate need across the country.

- February 2010 will be our 10th year online! We plan to offer a special contest later in the year to help celebrate this achievement. Also in the second half of 2009 we will try to add better prizes to our Pick n' Win contest for the remainder of the year.

I personally would like to thank everyone who continues to visit and those who are able to shop through our site when they make an online purchase. It has helped us succeed this long and especially this year with the tough economy. I appreciate it more than you can imagine.

Kiva.org is an organization that allows people to lend money to entrepreneur's around the world. You read about each business and decide who you would like to loan money to, they in return pay back the loan usually within 12 months. Then you can re-loan the money to another business. I think you have the option to take the money out after it's been paid back to you, but we plan on re-loaning it for as long as we can.
